Although they may have some of the same symptoms, postpartum depression &/or anxiety last longer & symptoms are more severe. If your symptoms last longer than two weeks, it is highly recommended to get screened for postpartum depression & anxiety. With our specialized training in maternal mental health, we will make sure you get the help you need so you can feel better.

Depression

Most people will experience some level of depression in their life. For some people, depression can become debilitating and can make a huge impact on a person’s ability to cope. Depression can make a person feel hopeless, sad, unmotivated, withdrawn and other feelings that are hard to manage. Dealing with fertility challenges can be so hard! Every couple’s journey is different, but when there are unexpected challenges with growing your family, a person can feel so many hard emotions. We don’t want couples to feel alone in their journey and will support you through the process and uncertainty.

Anxiety

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorders, with around 18% of people experiencing anxiety. If you are feeling constantly overwhelmed, always thinking of worst case scenarios, dread, not wanting to be around people because of nerves or fear and/or noticing physical symptoms such as feeling like you can’t get enough air, rapid heartbeat & inability to focus, we can help! Anxiety disorders are highly treatable and you deserve relief.

Trauma

Trauma looks different for everyone. If trauma is not treated, it can have lasting and debilitating effects. Our clinicians are trauma informed and will provide individualized care to make sure you can process and work through your trauma with compassionate, research-backed care.

Eating Disorders & Body Image

The majority of people, especially women and teens are extremely dissatisfied with their bodies. We live in a culture that constantly objectifies & criticizes bodies. This can result in doing almost anything to change the size and different aspects of your body, including unhealthy behaviors such as food restriction, distorted eating, binging, and more. Eating disorders are dangerous and it is imperative to get the help you deserve. We know firsthand that there is hope, recovery, and you can have a healthy relationship with your body.

Grief and Loss

Loss and grief are a universal experience, but they are emotions that no one should have to deal with alone. Grief can affect us in every aspect of our life. Often, we suppress our complex emotions that come with grief & loss because we don’t know how to manage it all. We will provide you with a safe place to navigate your loss and help you learn to cope with your situation.

Perfectionism

Are you highly critical of yourself with high expectations? Do you have a lot of self doubt that holds you back? Do you base your worth on your accomplishments? In the age of social media and constant access to the world, perfectionism is affecting people of all ages. We understand perfectionism and will help you learn healthier ways of coping.

Child Therapy/Play Therapy

Children are experiencing mental health issues & feelings including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, social problems, grief at an alarming rate. Through play therapy, a child can express, communicate & process experiences and learn better coping and behavioral skills.
